Since the beginning of this year we welcomed Madelon van Overbeek in our team. She brings in additional value because of her broad background of experience in Sales & Marketing, especially in the hospitality industry. Madelon is combining her previous gained experience with passion for the Travel Industry. With her commercial and organizational skills Madelon completes our team in supporting Sales & Marketing and Operations.

Romy van Rooijen is our new Global Account Manager for Marriott International at ITSC. After Romy finished her Tourism Management study, she started her career as an account manager for a recruitment company. With a great passion for the hospitality industry, she manages a large portfolio of Travel Management Companies (TMC’s) and in addition to this she is a travel agent training specialist.

Roel Bouten who has managed Hertz car rental for ITSC in Germany and Switzerland, will expand his task by also taking responsibility for the Benelux. He will be first point of contact for the Benelux region. Roel will also stay involved in the German and Swiss market and will lead the online business for ITSC.
Also recently we welcomed an old colleague back to our team - Maarten Pieter Pijpers. He is now joining our team as Director of Sales & Account Management for our client Hertz Car Rental. Maarten will be first point of contact for Germany and Switzerland and he will manage Business Travel in the Benelux, United Kingdom, Germany and Switzerland.
As Senior Director of Strategy & Business Development Stephanie Maxein will remain end-responsible for all Hertz matters. Due to the new structure she will be able to focus more on strategy and business developments for Hertz car rental as well as developing and expanding new business for ITSC.
The Marriott Global Sales team Benelux has had an exceptional year that has been exemplified by its team ethics. It is a combined team of ITSC GSA associates Bauke Boogers, Robbert-Jan van Zelst, Katinka Ros and Debbie Hendriks plus the GSO team employees of Marriott International. They have displayed best practice to both their internal and external business partners.
Nancy, the leader of the Marriott International team has fully embraced the culture of the new GSO organisation and ensured it has been pulled through within her combined team. The initiatives, especially within the TMC segment, have been seen as best practice and this year saw the team celebrate the 10-year anniversaries of its Amsterdam and Brussels Market Places (the longest running in Europe) with record numbers of key customer attendees.
All this hard work has resulted in the team being 120% to its revenue goal and +39% year-on-year. Its team-work also enabled GSO Western Europe to raise its AES score by 13%.

Roel Bouten, who you might remember from his successful years with Air Berlin, joined ITSC to manage the important portfolio of German and Swiss accounts.
Roel has a long history of working in the hospitality and aviation (tourism) industry. In his last role he was responsible for the TMC segment in the Netherlands, Ireland and the United Kingdom. From December 2017 onwards he is managing the TMC business in German and Switzerland for Hertz Car Rental. He is looking forward to bringing his international experience to use for ITSC.
Roel has lived in both Switzerland and Germany, he's a passionate traveler and likes to play tennis and golf. Roel is enthusiastic to meeting you in person and strengthen the existing relationships.
