Job description
As Sales Executive for Hertz Car Rental at ITSC, your primary objective will be increasing sales through acquisition of new customers. You will be responsible for generating leads, making sales calls and contracting new partners for Hertz Car Rental.
You will be reaching out to potential partners such as Travel Management Companies, Travel Agencies and Tour Operators to demonstrate our services and products through email, phone and personal meetings convincing them to book Hertz Car Rental. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure customer satisfaction for the client and help the sales team to grow sales.
A requirement for this position is an excellent command of English (spoken and written). Experience with car rental would be an advantage and affinity with the travel industry is desired.

Overview of tasks
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and customer needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients and prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Train and inform travel agents at Travel Management Companies and/or Tour Operators
- Participation in national and international trade fairs and events.
Qualifications
- Strong personality, enthusiastic and driven.
- Enjoys 'building bridges' and making sales calls.
- Minimum 2 years' work experience, preferably in the travel and/or car rental industry.
- Independent, proactive, flexible, positive and social attitude.
- Committed to providing quality and service at the highest level to customers and colleagues.
- Likes to think in solutions and opportunities. "Doesn't take no for an answer"
- Located in the Netherlands and flexible to travel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Dutch and German would be of advantage.
